Boosting Private Investments in Food and Agriculture IFF 2nd Edition
Date to be confirmed in 2023
UPDATE:
Please note, that after much deliberation, the African Agri Council NPC (AAC) has decided to cancel the Investment Food Forum due to take place this year in Berlin from 18 – 20 July. The concept of the Investment Food Forum, which covers the global agrifood investment landscape, will be integrated with our flagship event, the African Agri Investment Indaba (AAII) due to take place from 14 – 16 November 2022 in Cape Town, South Africa. Combining the two events will ensure the continuous growth of AAII as the African continent’s largest agrifood investment focus event.
We hope you can join us in Cape Town to connect with our partners, members and wider network in person.

The African Agri Council NPC (AAC), in partnership with Afrika-Verein, is excited to invite you to attend the 2nd edition of the Investment Food Forum. The summit will host over 500 participants, 70+ speakers and over 150 global investors.
The unwavering support, coupled with the eagerness to engage despite the unprecedented times we faced last year when delivering IFF virtual, has inspired us to organise an in-person event second to none.
This is what some of our attendees had to say from IFF 2020:
- “The sessions were interesting, and the platform is relevant for IFAD in line with its mandate. We would like to thank the AAC for providing IFAD with the opportunity to share its experiences at IFF and we are looking forward to working with the ACC again in the near future.” Brian Kapotwe, IFAD (Zambia).
- “I found it very interesting. I also enjoyed that it was not only an Africa focused event” Jari Matero, FinnFund (Finland).
This year’s agenda spans a vast array of topics ranging from revolutionary trends in innovation and technology driving investment decisions, increased prominence of venture capital and private debt investment, to the continued growth across farmland investments and private equity.
Witness and interact in engaging fireside chats, case studies showcasing investment opportunities, and participate in knowledge sharing sessions where experts will explore game- changing trends.
